How do you get to Pension Rose?
Only one stop by underground U3 from Westbahnhof to Zieglergasse station and then a five-minute-walk to the pension. The airport bus stops at Westbahnhof too.
The U3 underground line also takes you to Kärntner Straße, Stefansplatz and by changing to U4 underground line you can get in 20 minutes to the Opera, Karlsplatz,( Karls Kirche ), Schwedenplatz, the “Bermuda Triangle of Vienna” with its numerous locals and nightlife venues.
Arriving by Flixbus to Erdberg bus station, take the U3 underground to Zieglergasse or from the airport the Schnellbahn (local train) to Wien-Mitte, then take the U3 underground to Zieglergasse. In both cases it is about a half-an-hour journey to the pension.
Is Pension Rose centrally located?
Yes, it is within walking distance of Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna’s most popular shopping street. Almost everything can be found there, from more expensive boutiques to cheaper shops. There are several great restaurants, cafés and bars in the surrounding streets.
Is parking available?
Guests who arrive by car can park in Parkhaus ELBL, located at Zieglergasse 8. The Garage Mariahilf has an entry on Zieglergasse 3. Parking is possible on a daily or weekly basis.
Does Pension Rose have its own restaurant?
No, but each room has its own microwave, mini-fridge and coffee machine. Also, there are lots of restaurant nearby in Zieglergasse, for example Stellas, the Gasthaus “Zur Stadt Krems”, the Restaurant Neubauschenke and the Restaurant Il Mare.
